Holy Baptism
Holy Baptism is offered to persons of all ages at Painesville United Methodist Church, and it is not necessary to be a church member to be baptized. The Baptismal Covenant is God's word to us, proclaiming our adoption by grace, and our word to God promising our response of faith and love. In the case of parents having an infant or child baptized, the parents are vowing to raise and nurture them in Christ's holy church, teaching them by example to accept God's grace and to lead a Christian life. The Baptismal Covenant is normally conducted during Sunday worship.
You may contact the church office for more information or to set a date for baptism. You may also fill out and submit the baptism form and indicate several possible dates. The Administrative Secretary will contact you for final scheduling.
