UMW Retreat: Saturday, August 12, 2017

LADIES: LOOKING FOR A RE-DO?

Looking for a refreshing re-do, a chance to reconnect, to repent and find release, a source for relaxation and rejoicing?  Saturday, August 12th at North Perry Village Hall is such an event. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. we'll have a light breakfast, followed by activities for all the "re" possibilities. Following lunch we have more activity so that we'll have had a spiritual renewal by closing at 3:00 p.m.

UMW Purpose:  The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus christ:  to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in global ministries of the church.

Membership:  Regardless of all designations of age, race, or financial, marital, or employment status, each member is regarded as a person of unique value.  All women are welcome.  Membership is expressed by prayer, attendance  at meetings, service and financial support through gifts, offerings, and pledges.
Emblem:  The overall shape of our emblem is symbolilc.  Fluid and free flowing, the shape suggests change and mobililty.  The women who came before us were at the forefront of movement with ever-changing circumstances.  They carried on without feeling overwhelmed.
Today:  Continuing into the twenty-first century, we are a movement called United Methodist Women.  We are a group of active and dynamic Christian women with many gifts who are unified by one Spirit.  We participate in God's mission in all areas of life.

PUMC has two UMW "Circles".   Ruth Circle  and  Susanna Circle

Our Mission

Our mission is to creatively and actively educate, worship, pray, serve and give in the name of Jesus Christ!
