UMW Bake & Craft Sale
Sunday, April 9, 2017
The Circle Room
8:30-11:30a

The United Methodist Women will host a yummy Bake Sale and present a clever Craft Sale as well on Sunday, April 9th in the Circle Room between worship services. You are welcome to donate baked goods and craft sale items. (They will set up on Saturday, April 8th.)

Most importantly come, look around, and purchase until your heart's content!

UMW Purpose:  The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus christ:  to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in global ministries of the church.

Membership:  Regardless of all designations of age, race, or financial, marital, or employment status, each member is regarded as a person of unique value.  All women are welcome.  Membership is expressed by prayer, attendance  at meetings, service and financial support through gifts, offerings, and pledges.
Emblem:  The overall shape of our emblem is symbolilc.  Fluid and free flowing, the shape suggests change and mobililty.  The women who came before us were at the forefront of movement with ever-changing circumstances.  They carried on without feeling overwhelmed.
Today:  Continuing into the twenty-first century, we are a movement called United Methodist Women.  We are a group of active and dynamic Christian women with many gifts who are unified by one Spirit.  We participate in God's mission in all areas of life.

PUMC has two UMW "Circles".   Ruth Circle  and  Susanna Circle

Our Mission
