Hi! My name is Linda Jenkins, and I am currently the chairperson of the Mission Committee. This committee is open to anyone who wants to help plan or coordinate events and programs through which our congregation can serve our neighbors in our community and throughout the world. A short list of recent ways we have been the Hands and Feet of Jesus: raising funds for European Methodists serving Ukrainian refugees, filling flood buckets and personal care kits of emergency supplies for people in crisis, packing backpacks of school supplies for underprivileged students, distributing groceries each week to our neighbors in need, cooking and serving lunch monthly at the St. James Soup Kitchen, and collecting warm clothes to be distributed to homeless veterans in our area by the Subzero Mission. I have been a member of PUMC for over 30 years, and I am always excited to meet new people who want to serve others with us. How about you?
